Originally commissioned by the Syracuse New Music Society for the gala 60th birthday concert for composer Elliott Schwartz (at Merkin Concert Hall in NYC, January 1996), BUCKEYE ZOMBIES reflects upon Elliott's two years as visiting guest composer in the midwest (@ The Ohio State University).
