The legend of Saint Patrick includes everything from leprechauns and shamrocks to snake charming. Few realize, however, the immense historical and spiritual impact of Saint Patrick on Ireland. This Christian history play will combine sound historical research on Saint Patrick and the creative element. The drama begins with the capture of the saint by Irish pirates and includes his time in bondage, his return to the mainland and training to become a priest as well as his commission to become bishop to Ireland. Though the dialogue and many characters are fictitious, this play is based on the true life and times of Saint Patrick.
