A 4470-Point Scrabble Game

Abstract

In the February 1981 issue of Word Ways we exhibited a theoretical solitaire Scrabble game where all 100 titles are used to achieve a score of 4454 points. With some slight adjustments to the setup and a few new words it is possible to add 16 more points, giving a new total of 4470. Asterisks (*) indicate the two blank tiles.
