Abstract
The junior high school as such is a comparatively new part of the modern educational system. As, with all new things, it began as an experiment; and as with all worthwhile things, innovations are constantly being tried out, rejected, or accepted. Much has been said about the junior high as a link between the elementary grades and senior high school, as a period of orientation, as a time of physical as well as psychological change.
