Abstract
...Suggests the great parade of American boys and girls who enter and leave our colleges each year. It is surprising that this condition has existed for a long time with little, if any, scientific investigation as to the reasons why these boys and girls withdraw before completing the course. Considering the number of institutions of higher learning in the United States, very little has been done to solve the problem.
