Abstract
SPIRITS is a work about infamous Hoosiers, commissioned by the Indiana State Orchestra Consortium (16 orchestras) Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra Neal Gittleman, conductor Inspired by / dedicated to the spirit and the nerve of Knute Rockne, the iconic Notre Dame football coach in the 1920's, ONE FOR THE GIPPER is marching band music gone mad.
