Letter from the Editors
Dear Readers,
We started our first year of college during the most unprecedented time in recent history. Our transition into the best years of our lives turned into a nightmare. Drowning in endless schoolwork with COVID-19 restrictions thwarting opportunities to meet new people and explore our first year of freedom, life became stressful and lonely. Still, we persevered. We found creative ways to spend our time, rebuilding our broken spirits.
As we present this year’s edition, we would like to recognize the students who were courageous enough to submit their work to the publication. It was a privilege to read each piece produced during the 2020-2021 academic year, as unheard voices found amplification. The diversity in interest and opinion demonstrates the Bulldog experience throughout this remarkable time. This year was alike no other, but you have proved the resilience and determination of our class. Please enjoy this issue of The Mall.
Sincerely,
The 2020-2021 Editorial Staff
