Description
My poster will focus on Paul Farmer. He is a doctor providing first world care to third world countries. I will hone in on the affect that this one man has had on some of the poorest people in the world. More specifically, I will focus on his international influence. He has helped people in Haiti, the former Soviet Union, Peru, and Rwanda. I enjoy his approach to his work. Farmer does not do as he is told but rather radically reforms national medical programs. He grew up poor and in a big family and I plan to touch on how his upbringing influenced the amazing work that he does today.
