Description
The purpose of this study was to see how students prepared for and thought about the three types of testing. Students were asked to fill out a survey that involved ten different questions. The same ten questiions were asked for each type of testing. The students had to answer on one to seven scale. One being strongly disagree and seven being strongly agree. The results were that students believed multiple choice testing was the most objective and fair way to test. Students prefer multiple choice testing. The survey showed that students thought they did not have to study the material as much for multiple choice tests. The hope of this survey is to create a concept map testing program that encourages students to connect old material to new material, so that they will be more likely to remember the material after the test.
