Description
This is a video project wherein I will showcase the diversity in the LGBTQ+ community and challenge stereotypes that dominate people’s perception of it. It takes the form of personality profile videos that focus not only on the subject’s identity within the LGBTQ+ community, but also on other parts of their life and how that does and doesn’t intersect with their identity. I have completed five videos so far, all between three and seven minutes in length. A presentation of this project would include a description of my process and of the more abstract things I learned throughout this process, as well as clips from each of the five videos.
