This course examined the works of international women writing in the 20th and 21st Centuries. By studying contemporary literary texts and other cultural materials, this class examined the ways in which the politics of sex and gender intersect with and challenge the politics of race, class, ethnicity, sexual orientation, nationality, and other markers of difference in varying cultural contexts.
