Abstract
When Buddha undertook to court Princess Gopa, legend has it, her father had him compete with five other suitors in an array of physical and mental competitions. At one point Buddha's mental prowess was to be tested by the mathematician Arjuna. Arjuna asked him to name all the numbers above koti, the Sanskrit word for 10^7.
