At some undetermined stage of my lifelong fascination with spoonerisms. I realize that the genre is ideally suited to visualization. Cruel and Usual Puns, my semi-successful 1991 spoonerism book, was superbly illustrated by top New Yorker cartoonist Arnie Levin. But since then, aside form my own occasional amateur sketches for friends. I haven't fully explored or exploited the potential of this perfect marriage of word and image.
