Abstract
Pupil transportation is becoming a very important problem in public school administration. Recognizing this fact many states have passed legislative measures dealing with the subject, thus attempting to improve the educational opportunities for all children of school age. The various methods and means of transportating many children long distances involve many factors and require careful and wise planning on the part of local school boards and state officials.
