Abstract

Teachers are constantly confronted with the problem of pupils who are retarded in reading. Many educators have given theories regarding this phase of education as to what teaching techniques shoudl be used to elminate poor reading habits. As a result, much confusion has arisen as to how to give instruction to poor readers. The writer attempts to show how reading was improved in a seventh grade.
