Ovid publishes writing from Butler University's First Year Seminar students and shares exemplary work produced in FYS courses. We aim to empower students' understanding of writing. We hope that this resource serves as a learning tool in classrooms and in the community at large.

Ovid’s Ovid 2025-2026 is now open for submissions from Butler students currently enrolled in a FYS course. Send us your best work produced in these classes. Work from the fall 2025 and spring 2026 semesters are eligible. We look forward to reading your writing!
