Description
The way in which women are portrayed in the media is a very diverse and prominent issue in society today. This issue is also one that affects each of us on a daily basis, as stereotypes portrayed in the media are often used as a comparative measure. This zine serves to bring awareness to these stereotypes through specific examples from television, movies, and social media advertisements. This zine also outlines the male gaze and oversexualization, and explains how these things affect many different aspects of women’s lives.
