Perceptions of Beauty

This study looks at how beauty varies across cultures. By surveying people on Amazon's Mechanical Turk, I can gather information from people around the world. Participants will be asked questions regarding their own opinions of beauty and how important beauty is to them. They will then be asked to rate pictures of six women of different races by placing them in order according to their opinions of their beauty. After that, they will be asked to rate six pictures of female body sizes in the same way. Finally, the participants will be asked to rate seven female faces individually. I propose that individuals from different countries and of different races will have differing opinions of beauty.
