Description
Art has this connotation, for many people, of being a piece hung in a gallery or museum to always be looked at and never to be touched. Art has never held that connotation for me. Art has always been this constantly changing idea that can pull from anywhere. For me there is no limit to what it can be, what it can pull from, and what can be used. It can be a pair of jeans from the closet to a tire found on the side of the road.
Following my idea of art, my thesis plans to create an everyday situation completely redone by an artist. It will not just be pieces that are meant to be seen, but pieces to be used in one’s everyday life.
