This essay focuses on the relationship between the book La nina de sus ojos and the idea of a new nation called mestizo. I am going to argue that the protagonist, Domy, represents the mestizo nation. When one looks at the evidence it is obvious that Domy is not only a representation but also a tool used by the author who wants to promote the new nation of mestizos. This presentation will be delivered in Spanish.
