Description
The purpose of this study was to survey Indiana pharmacy students from Butler, Manchester, and Purdue University about their awareness and attitudes towards HIV and its prevention, along with their overall confidence in their education regarding HIV and PrEP. Other studies have found that practicing pharmacists lack confidence in their HIV education. This study implemented an online survey via Qualtrics targeting P3 and P4 pharmacy students from Butler, Manchester, and Purdue University. Participant sociodemographic factors were also recorded. After completing the survey, participants were given an option to receive a $10.00 Amazon e-gift card via email. Based on our results, we hope to present findings to pharmacy educators to improve pharmacy curriculums statewide and nationally.
