Abstract
This study was made to determine the value of high school records as a whole and of each of five high school subjects as devices for predicting college success. The method used in finding this value is that of correlation. The average of fifty students in each of five high school subjects, as well as high school average was correlated with college average, college weighted average, and with college grade points. The five high school subjects were English, mathematics, social science, science, and foreign language.
