Description
Tattoos are becoming increasingly popular, especially among young adults. What messages do these tattoos send? Is it an expression of individuality or creativity or perhaps something less appealing? The purpose of this study is to discover the initial impressions people have of those with arm tattoos. Specifically, does the age of the participant affect his/her impressions of those with tattoos? Does the gender of the person with the tattoo affect the impressions people make about those who have tattoos? Does the age of the participant affect his/her judgments about those who have tattoos? A 2x2 factorial design (male & female x tattoo & no tattoo) will be used to test these questions.
