Description

Winston Churchill's speech at Harvard University in 1943, presents a challenge to the American people to rise up and fight for the Allies in the midst of World War II. While on the surface it appears to just be an encouraging battle cry, the underlying ideology reveals much more. A critical analysis of this essay revealed that the ideology of democracy proved to not only be the lens through which Churchill saw the war, but also the overarching goal of what he was fighting to protect.
