Description
Through an examination of Shakespeare's Hamlet, this essay attempts to evaluate the play's manufacturing of drama through the disorder and limited perceptions of its characters. An analysis of the means through which Shakespeare's players interact reveals that, though valuing accuracy and truth, the character's actions, being excessively reliant on individuality, only result in further disarray. Shakespeare's Hamlet offers a moving look into the consequences of overly emphasizing one's perspective. Underneath the complicated dramas overwhelming the Kingdom of Denmark, Shakespeare comments on a grim and chaotic condition, one that takes hold as each of his characters frantically maintain the notion that the they provide the source of truth.
