Description

Significant measures have been taken to advance Indiana's economic condition by improving education success. In recent years, policy changes and education reforms have been made in an effort to improve Indiana's workforce. Unfortunately, these efforts have neglected a key population. Adults in pursuit of high school equivalency diplomas play an important role in the economic condition of Indiana. These adults face unique challenges while in pursuit of their educational goals. In order for these adults to achieve their goals, there must be an emphasis on support services at the programming level. I believe the most effective method to improve this particular population's success is through comprehensive service integration.
