Description
We examined how voice lineup identification may be influenced by verbalizing the presented voice, a non-presented voice, or an unrelated event. Results did not suggest a verbal overshadowing effect when the presented voice was described; however, verbalizing a non-presented voice increased the likelihood of accurately identifying the presented voice.
