Description

Nonprofit organizations face a considerable amount of scrutiny due to the gap in research concerning treatment effectiveness. An example of such organizations is Family Service Society located in Marion, Indiana. With a focus on individual, family, and community enrichment Family Service Society serves Grant County by providing clinical services, educational programs, domestic violence and sexual abuse services, and family support services (Family Service Society, 2014). In order to fill this gap in research and increase the quality of Family Service Society programs, this study examines the effectiveness of different treatment modalities as evidenced by progress ratings. In this quantitative study, it is expected that the treatment modality that will yield the highest progress ratings will be group counseling. In order to measure this, data will be collected from the closing summary report provided from Family Service Society.
