Description
Homosexuality is an increasingly debated and controversial issue in today's society. It affects people of all ages, especially college students. There is extensive research on the stereotypes people have towards homosexuality, but nearly none on college students' stereotypes. The studies that have looked into their stereotypes did not compare differences or similarities between public and private universities. This study seeks to find whether Public University students have less harmful stereotypes towards homosexuality than Christian University students. To conduct this study, we used the Components of Attitudes Toward Homosexuality Scale and survey a sample of 50 students from Taylor University and Ball State University.
