The Researcher examined fifty episode segments of Spongebob Squarepants looking for homosexual stereotypes in the hopes to prove whether or not the popular children's cartoon show promotes homosexuality as suggested by right winged religious groups and members of the gay community. A coding sheet was used by the researcher to collect data on each of the fifty episode segments.
