Objective: The objective of this study is to determine adherence of hormonal contraception in female college students, in addition to awareness of side effects to the medication. Methods: A survey was sent to all female students at Butler University. There were three sections of the survey. The first section’s purpose was to gather demographic data and to determine if the student uses hormonal contraception. The second section’s purpose was to gather information on adherence to hormonal contraception and awareness of hormonal contraceptive effectiveness and side effects. The purpose of the third section was to gather information regarding if, and how, the student’s source of information about the hormonal contraceptive is obtained. Results: Survey has been distributed and is currently open until March 31, 2018; results will be forthcoming. Conclusion: Results and conclusion will be presented during the 2018 URC.
