Description
We have found that 3-formylchromones participate in an open air radical Inverse Demand-Diels-Alder reactions with a dienophile. The radical reactions took place under open air conditions in a short amount of time, as quickly as ten minutes. Various chromones with substituents at R1 were studied and their corresponding products were used to build a library of compounds to test for biological activity.
